Too bad it doesn't fit me either! This is the latest UFO to be finished. I left off a couple of years ago because the instructions for attaching the sleeves didn't make sense. I finally figured it out, but either I did it wrong or all those hours in the gym have made my arms too huge for the underarm area. Technically it fits me, in that I can get it on, but I need help getting it back off again and it's not exactly flattering.
But it looks just like the picture!
It's made with some gorgeously soft alpaca. It's lovely and I wish it fit me. I have to stop kidding myself that I can make garments. Really.
I need to find a small-armed, small-chested friend to gift it to I suppose...

Awww...don't give up! You'll get it. That is a really pretty sweater
It is gorgeous. And obviously you can make garments. You just need to finish them in a timely manner. This from someone who made a lovely, cabled Calvin Klein sweater and then ripped the whole thing apart when I couldn't get it down over my body. And who another sweater sitting in a basket for the past three years. I'm great for giving advice but...
Have you done any weaving lately?
Thanks guys! Cynthia: I haven't been weaving because my loom is in my bedroom and my bedroom is in a sad state of destruction, awaiting the painting of the walls. As soon as I unearth the loom I'll put it to use.
M - love the neck detail on that! The pits do look mighty tiny, even in the picture. It's gorgeous - I wish I had small arms and a small chest, but sadly - no. Your UFO list is going much quicker than mine - I'm blaming Spanish (currently) - which is kicking my a$$....
